I am a 19 year old student at the University of Texas at Austin. This web page is a project for a creative writing course I am taking on the topic of Generation X. I was assigned the web page on music, so here I am. I chose the Smashing Pumpkins because they are really the only modern mainstream "alternative" (if I dare use the word) band I truly enjoy. Besides the Pumpkins, I listen to about everything. Well, not really, but here's a few: Beatles (my all time fav), Simon and Garfunkel, Monkees, Beastie Boys, Dandy Warhols, Jesus and Mary Chain, Gwen Mars, Lords of Acid, Jimi Hendrix, etc, etc...That is pretty much all my favorites. Anyways....

Here's a few fun facts about me. I read and write a lot. I enjoy art, nature, and of course music. I have always wanted to be an actress, but I soon discovered I was a little short ( only 5' 3"). So I always got the short people roles and those get kind of boring after a while......I talk a lot and so I feel like I may need to shut up about now.
